TL;DR

Three things to do here. Rent a private cabana for an hour ($30, +relief 8, -1 Shame, gated not cabana_rented_today). Retire to the suite (same path as Lobby’s). Work an attendant shift (20 Energy, gated iris_stage >= 3 && resort_on_site).

Cabana Row is the only sub-area gated entirely on having paid for nights. Day-trip mode (resort_nights_booked == 0) disables the hotspot from the grounds map with “Book a stay at the Lobby first.”

Rent a private cabana

Resort_Cabana_Rent. $30, do_action(5, 1), sets cabana_rented_today = true. You pick the far-end cabana, draw the curtain, and get an hour of do_relief(8) and shame_gain(-1). The minifridge is stocked with things you didn’t order.

One per day. Renewed on overnight (cabana_rented_today = false happens inside Resort_Overnight).

Cabana attendant shift

Resort_Cabana_Shift. 20 Energy, 1 TimeSlot, sets iris_met_today = true, increments cabana_shifts_done. Iris hands you a tray and a radio. The shift rolls one of six events on cabana_attendant_cycle:

The couple branch (#4) has an Arousal-gated extra: if you’re at Arousal >= 50 when they leave, you can take the cabana alone for CabanaAttendant_CoupleAfterwards (+1 Fem, +1 Sub, Arousal -> 0, do_relief 15, +2 Shame). Highest-tip-per-energy event on the property after the Dante arc.

Retire to your suite

Same as the Lobby option. Resort_Overnight. Gated resort_nights_booked > 0 && TimeSlot >= 2. Hard reset, no do_action, runs overnight_processing.

People here

Iris assigns you the attendant route once her Stage 3 promotion lands (Iris_Stage_3_Promo, reached via “Hey, Iris” at the Tiki Bar with iris_stage == 3 && resort_shifts_done >= 10). She’s the gateway to this job, not present at the cabanas themselves.
Cabana guests rotate via the shuffle bag. None are named NPCs. The Cabana One patron is described as a recurring older woman with a dog; the Cabana Eight streamer is unnamed but pushes sissy_fame if you take the selfie.

Tips and gotchas

Day trip locks you out of the cabanas entirely

Resort_Cabana is gated resort_nights_booked > 0 at the grounds map. On a day trip the hotspot is disabled with “Book a stay at the Lobby first.” Both renting and the attendant shift live behind this gate.

The attendant rotation is the resort's highest-income loop

Pushy ($10) is the only weak draw. Friendly, Couple, Streamer, and especially Elite ($100) average out high for a 20-Energy shift. Combined with cocktail late-night ($2x tips) it’s a strong overnight money loop, but capped at shifts_today < 2 like all resort work.

Pushy event has no opt-out

CabanaAttendant_Pushy runs in full text. Your wrist gets grabbed, you pull it back, he laughs. +1 Sub, +2 Shame, Arousal +2 forced. No reject branch. If you draw a low-mood narrative event, accept it as the cost of the rotation.

Couple aftermath gate is an Arousal threshold, not a permission

The Arousal >= 50 gate on the couple aftermath isn’t a moral choice, it just opens an extra #color:pink option. If you’re sitting under 50 you don’t see it; if you’re over 50 you can choose either Continue or the aftermath.
