TL;DR
master_intensity gates whole branches of Master.ink. The tier you pick at character creation determines which scenes exist on your save. This page is the lookup table.
Intensity 0 — Independent
Nothing in Master.ink fires. MasterName defaults still exist but no scene ever references them on this path. Rent still applies via the apartment timer; no in-person collection.
Independent is also the route to Ending 2.
Intensity 1+ — at least Roommate
Scene access:
- Master_FirstNotice (first encounter)
- Master_SubtlePush, Master_Denial, Master_Backoff
- Master_PantiesHint, Master_PantiesAcquire, Master_PantiesRefuse
- Master_MorningCheck and its branches (Resist / Forgot / Sorry)
- Master_WearingCheck, Master_WearingCheck_Done
- Master_Reward
- Master_PrivateEncounter and the 4-stage Private series (Inspection / Praise / Test / Service)
Tone: Suggestion, curiosity, soft pressure. The Roommate doesn’t issue orders; he asks and lets the silence work.
Intensity 2+ — Landlord (default) and above
Adds, on top of intensity 1+:
- Bar_Order_* series (chastity / plug / laser / downsize, all in Bar.ink)
- Master_FirstResize (the cage measurement beat)
- Several MorningEvents shuffle picks
- Chastity_MasterInspection (the cage-check inspection)
Tone: Transactional. Rent is the lever. Missing a morning check costs Master Relationship.
Intensity 3 — Owner only
Adds, on top of intensity 2+:
- Morning_Curfew_Violation (curfew breach scene + MR penalty)
- Morning_Inspection (Day-gated, MR 4+, the full intimate inspection)
- Morning_Inspection_Punishment
- Master_Order_Failed (failure beat)
- The Allowance system — allowance_active, money trickle, weekly settle
- Stronger framing throughout. Same scene knot, different narration weight.
Tone: Owned property. No asks; instructions.
Notable gate combinations
master_intensity >= 2 && MasterRelationship >= 4 → Morning Inspection
The morning intimate inspection is the headline Owner+ scene. Patreon-only as of v0.2.7. Requires Master Relationship 4 or higher and intensity 3 (technically the gate is >= 2 but the scene was authored for Owner pacing — Landlord rarely reaches MR 4 without escalation).
master_intensity >= 3 && MasterRelationship >= 6 → Curfew Violation
Stay out past TimeSlot 3 on Owner with MR 6+ and the Curfew Violation morning beat fires. Two response branches: apologise (MR neutral) or resist (MR -2, +1 Fem from the punishment scene).
master_intensity >= 1 && MR >= 7 → Master Opened Up
Once-only vulnerable scene. Fires at MR 7 regardless of intensity tier. Sets master_opened_up = true and unlocks the Intimate arc.
master_intensity >= 1 && MR >= 8 && Sub 50+ && Fem 50+ → Master Intimate
The Stage 6 intimate scene (master_intimate_done). Highest-MR private beat available outside Master Wellness.
master_intensity >= 1 && MR 9 → Master Wellness (Patreon)
Wellness unlock at MR 9, post-Intimate. Patreon-only. +5 max Energy reward and a recurring high-MR beat. Sets master_wellness_unlocked = true.

Tips and gotchas
Intensity is set once at the editor
The cheat console (Patreon) can flip it mid-run but a clean save commits at character creation.
Higher intensity = more content but harder pacing
Owner has the densest scene tree but also the most consequences for missing checks. Roommate has the gentlest pacing if you want the arc without the friction.
