Sage

Who they are

Sage rents the second bedroom of the flat an Independent player moves into. The game introduces them around day three, reading a swollen paperback at the kitchen counter: one name, one pronoun, the rule about the hot water, and that is all they volunteer. They are the keyholder the cage picker calls “your roommate”, and until 0.4 that row was the only place they turned up again.

The arc (0.4, Solo sissy, for yourself)

Knock on Sage’s door from the apartment in the evening. One beat per visit, three days between visits, and the door is only there on the Independent route once you have met them.

1. The tin. Day five or later. The first real conversation, over the biscuit tin with the keys and the receipts in it.
2. Sunday post. Sage’s own two years in the flat, told while sorting the pile. Wardrobe advice, if you want it.
3. The key. If you are locked and holding your own key, they will take it. Or not; ask again in four days.
4. Seen. Femininity 40 or more, with Sage holding the key or the cage off. They watch from the doorway, hands in their sweater, and never touch. Saying no twice settles the arc here with no penalty.
5. Witness. At the day-18 lease, or afterwards when the landlord’s copy comes back in the post, Sage signs the witness line. Achievement: Somebody Saw.

Sage never orders, never punishes, and never comments on your body unasked. The motivation layer that ships with the same update (the mornings after a self-lock, the mirror, the wardrobe at Femininity 30, 40 and 50) is free and does not involve them.
