TL;DR

A candle-lit cabaret behind a doorman in the Red Light District: round tables, a small gold-leaf stage, and a gilded-birdcage motif fanning across the proscenium. It is the one brand-new location of the 0.3 round and the whole venue is Patreon-only, the map tile doesn’t render for free players. You start as audience, become a performer through Maxime’s audition, and work paid stage sets driven by a call-and-response crowd minigame. Performing feeds a dedicated exhibition track that gates the deeper content.

Getting on stage

  1. Visit at night. The Gilded Cage tile appears on the Red Light map. First visit introduces the house.
  2. Build a little nerve. Watching the show and working the floor both grow exhib_fem, the exhibition-femininity track. Around 35+ Maxime starts talking auditions.
  3. Audition. Maxime runs open auditions “when something worth lighting walks in”. Performance quality decides whether you land as a floor act (cabaret_stage 2) or straight onto the stage roster (cabaret_stage 3).
  4. Work sets. Paid shifts run through the crowd-call minigame, read the room, answer its calls, and the payout scales with your performance score plus tips from the regulars.

The exhibition track (exhib_fem)

The Gilded Cage grows its own axis, separate from Femininity: exhib_fem measures how much of yourself you can put in front of a room. It rises with every set (with diminishing returns per tier) and gates the venue’s deeper content, most notably the late show at 50+.

The late show

At cabaret_stage 3 with exhib_fem >= 50 you can volunteer for the late show (25 Energy, once per night), the explicit tier of the venue. A PC presenting masculine is not booked for it.

The regulars

Two fixtures of the front row run their own three-stage arcs as your reputation grows: Apollo, the ex-strongman who never claps, and Vera, the house’s former headliner. Both arcs turn explicit at stage 3.
