TL;DR
Built like dockyard machinery and sixty-plus years old, Apollo was a carnival strongman thirty years back; now he watches. He never claps, his applause is one fist pressed into an open palm and a one-inch bow of the head, and the folded bill he leaves under his candle glass is the biggest tip in the room.
