TL;DR

The Iron Temple is the city’s gym. Pay $50 once at the lobby and Malik signs you up; from then on the hub offers six activities (Weights, Cardio, Boxing, Yoga, Sauna, Locker room), a $5 protein shake (one per day), and personal training with Malik once you’ve visited three times. Most workouts cost Energy and push Fem down; yoga and Malik’s later stages push it back up. The locker room is the only place that reliably clears the is_dirty debuff.

Membership and entry

First visit routes to GymLobby. Malik greets you (if trainer_stage == 0), pitches the $50 membership, and hands over a card. After that, every visit lands in GymHub with all hotspots live. Visits are tracked in gym_visits, which is the gate for unlocking personal training (>= 3).

If you skip the membership, you’re bounced back to the city via CityReturn.

The six activities

Each hotspot is a single workout beat with stat effects and a 30% chance of a floor-event roll on Weights and Cardio.

Weights, Cardio, and Boxing have masc/fem image variants (_masc suffix below Fem 25). The narration at the weight rack flips from quiet competence at low Fem to a smirking stranger asking if you need a spot once Fem hits 30 or visibly_femme() returns true.

Yoga: Kai cameo (30%)

If you’ve matched and started dating Kai (matched_kai && dating_kai >= 1), there’s a 30% chance per yoga class he shows up in the studio. Partner stretches at Fem 30+ unlock a Lean-into-it / Keep-friendly choice. At dating_kai >= 2 && Femininity >= 40 he locks the studio after class and triggers GymYoga_Kai_Intimate, a full hookup beat on the mat. Costs 15 Energy, gives Fem +2 Sub +1 Shame +2.

Sauna at Fem 30+

Below Fem 30 the sauna is “two people sweating in a box.” At Fem 30+ two men are already inside and one shifts to make room. You can sit next to him (Sub +1, Shame +2, Arousal +5, his thigh against yours) or take the bench across the room. Chastity is noticed but not commented on.

The locker room shuffle (7 events)

GymLocker is a shuffle-bag of 7 events. Every visit clears is_dirty regardless of which event narrates, which was a v0.2.6.1 fix (the shower used to only happen on 1-in-7 rolls).

The Tyler and Jake events follow the same shape: low-Fem version is light banter, Fem 30+ unlocks a pink-flagged flirt choice. Chastity tag adds an extra beat on top of each.

Hypno involuntary trigger

Locker-room entry checks trance_depth >= 20 && not hypno_public_event_today. If the roll lands (trance_depth / 2 chance), HypnoTrigger_Gym fires before the shuffle-bag picks. Four variants: instant snap-to-attention on a shouted “Focus!”, weight-rack metronome (5 extra reps you didn’t choose), mid-squat kneeling association, sauna stillness on command.

Malik and the trainer arc

The trainer arc is gated by trainer_stage (0 to 4) and trainer_repeat_cycle. Each stage has its own image, its own price, and its own escalation.

Stage 3 unlocks a three-variant repeat cycle: oral session on the mat, paired sauna, and a midnight bent-over-the-desk office scene. After cycling through them, Stage 4 (GymTrainer_Milestone) makes the arrangement official (“That should tell you something.”).

Every session refuses if Energy is at 10 or below (Malik tells you to go sleep). Same goes for Money below the session price.

Chastity overlays

Stage 3 and the three repeat variants all have a wearing_chastity branch. Malik notices, doesn’t stop, and the comment escalates from “interesting” to “that cage suits you” to “you don’t need this to work anymore, not with me.”

Floor events (30% on Weights/Cardio)

GymFloorEvent cycles four variants: a spotter who stands too close at Fem 30+, a mirror catch, a “try the yoga studio” comment from a regular, and a friendly compliment that escalates to skincare-routine small-talk at Fem 20+. Cycle index is gym_floor_event_cycle; floor events tunnel through and return you to the workout’s Continue button.

Tips and gotchas

The locker room is the only shower

Sauna sets is_dirty. Workouts set is_dirty. Only GymLocker clears it. If you’re tracking the dirty status icon, route through the lockers before leaving, no matter which shuffle event narrates.

Three visits before Malik talks numbers

gym_visits >= 3 is the gate for the “Find Malik” hotspot. Any three visits count, including ones where you just bought a shake and left. Visit count ticks on every GymEntry, not on activity completion.

Yoga needs cash AND Fem

The yoga hotspot only appears at Fem 20+ and costs $10 per class. Below Fem 30 it nets Fem +1 and a small Arousal bump; at Fem 40+ the instructor uses you as an example and calls you “she.”

Protein shake is once per day

gym_shake_today blocks the second purchase until overnight resets it. +15 Energy, $5, capped at max_energy. Useful on long days when you’ve already done two bar shifts.
