TL;DR

The neighbourhood’s 24/7 convenience store. Day 1 access, no Fem or Sub gates, no NPC arc. Three real choices: browse the shelves (pure flavor with a Fem 10+ hair-accessory beat), the pharmacy shop overlay (subset of shop_pharmacy cosmetics and hygiene), and a snack rack that converts $3-5 into 8-15 Energy. Use it for cheap Energy when you can’t get home, or for low-stakes lip gloss and skin care that won’t raise eyebrows at the register.

The three hub choices

CornerStoreEntry is a small hub. No do_action calls, no relationship NPC.

Browse the shelves. Pure flavor. Energy drinks, sunglasses, phone chargers, novelty items the narrator tries not to look at. Fem 10+ adds a hair-accessory beat (“your fingers linger”) with no purchase option.
Pharmacy section (#ui:shop_pharmacy). Opens the shop overlay filtered to pharmacy items: skin care, basic cosmetics, hygiene products. Fem 15+ adds a “subtle pink lip gloss catches your eye” flavor line.
Grab a snack. $3-5 cheap Energy refill (see below).
Leave. Back to Outside.

The snack rack

CornerStore_Snack is the cheapest reliable Energy source outside sleeping. Both items now cost 1 TimeSlot per purchase (added 2026-05-21 to close the porn-grind Day-1 edge loop):

Both clamp at max_energy (100 base, plus bed upgrades up to 120). Money < 5 routes you to a “check your pockets, nothing” stub with a back-to-hub choice.

Pharmacy overlay

The pharmacy section is #ui:shop_pharmacy, the same overlay the Clinic and Mall use. Stock is filtered to subtle, non-conspicuous items: foundation, lip gloss, basic skin care, hygiene. Nothing that registers as “feminine” if a coworker is in line behind you.

The narration explicitly leans into the discretion angle: “Nothing that would raise eyebrows at the register.” It’s the corner store’s whole pitch.

Tips and gotchas

The snack rack burns time now

Pre-2026-05-21 the snacks cost zero TimeSlot, which enabled a Day-1 edge loop: porn-grind at home until Energy 0, run to the corner store, refill for $5, repeat until Fem 25 with zero day progression. Patched (foundby:dthrcum). Now each snack costs 1 TimeSlot, so the loop bottoms out at 4 refills per day, after which you sleep.

Drunk lockout

If is_drunk is set when you enter, you grab a shelf to steady yourself and the only choice is Leave. The store doesn’t let you buy Energy through a hangover. Sleep first.

Discreet is the whole point

The pharmacy stocks the SUBTLE end of shop_pharmacy. Items you can carry on the bus without anyone noticing. If you want bolder makeup, padded bras, or wigs, you need the Mall (shop_womens_clothing) or the Beauty Salon. The corner store is for daily-use basics and Day 1 starter cosmetics.
